If you have accepted Christ into your heart, then you now possess the greatest gift of all,

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:22-23
But this is where so many lukewarm Christians end their journey, but the truth is, that this is only the beginning of our journey into the mind of Christ. We must now prove what is that good, and acceptable and perfect, will of God.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:1-2
In order to be transformed into what Gods plan is for each one of His children, we must constantly seek for the renewing of our minds, and this can not be accomplished if we are trying to fulfill our desires by serving our own self will.
So what is the acceptable and perfect will of God, but to sacrifice our lives for the one who gave Himself for us.
Let the mind of Christ be in you, that you may glorify your Father in Heaven.

Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. Psalms 150:1-6 (KJV)
